It's late
This weekend's been interesting. I learned that my marketing degree from Morehouse won't allow to create the advertisements for various magazine ads i've grown to appreciate so much. No, Morehouse failed to inform me that in order to get into an advertising firm, I'd have to have a portfolio that could compete with the portfolios of people going to school in order to create a great portfolio. Thanks. Creative Circus, prepare for me...maybe
I'm workin on a poem. Might be my new motto. I'ma title it The Hunger for More.
AND, i'm really feelin this pandora radio thing. Kinda hot.
In other news...
I'm desperately searchin for an internship. Preferably one with a concentration in Marketing. Not HR, or management, necessarily, although those would work well also. Experience is experience. And if there isn't a possibility of me getting one, I want to go to China. Beijing more specifically.
Pretty, eh? Hello summer 2009?
I'm gonna leave you with some cool stuff.

The N's
So, as I was driving home from Target today, I realized that alot of my music preference could be summed up to the 'N' section of my albums.
N.W.A.
Neptunes Presents- The Clones
Nevermind
New Amerykah - Part One
The New Danger
Notorious
What surprised me tho, was finding out that they put Biggie's son on one of the One More Chance remix. He's really just reciting his dad's lyrics, filling in. But I still think that this shows a real problem. While I do think that it's great that they're not trying to hide the errors of BIG and his lifestyle from his children, I don't think that the best way to connect the son to the father should be to expose him to his father's lyrics. The boy's still young. He played his father as a boy in the movie.
Basic point: I don't like that they put him on the song. He's still a boy. I feel that there's thing big problem with people glorifying rap music so much that they introduce young kids to content they really shouldn't be exposed to at such a young age. May young Chris Wallace would have been introduced to the things his dad rapped about while walking around the neighborhood, or watching television, but promoting the lyrics by allowing the son to rap about them, is ridiculous. I'll try to post the song. I'm new to this blog thing, but i'll figure it out

Time for a budget
My refund check's coming in a few days. Well, maybe a day or two.
I'm pretty much obligating myself to save about half, if at all possible. I have this big problem with spending money, and not saving it. I end up having to reluctantly ask my parents for money by the end of the semester.....
I don't like having to ask for more money. My parents look down on me, and I feel like a failure usually. My girlfriend's really good with her money. She has a couple G's stacked up right now...
I need to get on it...

the first
So, I've decided to start blogging. I'm not too sure what I'll write about, but I feel that it's a much needed action. Gotta get my ideas out.
